JPMorgan Chase Software Engineer III - Testing & Automation in Plano, Texas

As a Quality Software Engineer III - Testing and Automation at JPMorgan Chase with in the Consumer & Community Banking Wealth Management - Outsourced Family Office team, you serve as a seasoned member of an agile team to design and deliver trusted market-leading technology products in a secure, stable, and scalable way. You are responsible for carrying out critical technology solutions across multiple technical areas within various business functions in support of the firm's business objectives.
Job responsibilities
Executes software solutions, design, development, and technical troubleshooting with ability to think beyond routine or conventional approaches to build solutions or break down technical problems
Creates secure and high-quality production code and maintains algorithms that run synchronously with appropriate systems
Gathers, analyzes, synthesizes, and develops visualizations and reporting from large, diverse data sets in service of continuous improvement of software applications and systems
Proactively identifies hidden problems and patterns in data and uses these insights to drive improvements to coding hygiene and system architecture
Contributes to software engineering communities of practice and events that explore new and emerging technologies
Work with the architecture and business requirement leads to insure synchronize development of integrate and testable requirements, working closely with the QE leadership to identify project risks, resource constraints, or other critical items
Conduct end to end testing to ensure the design, performance, reliability, and robustness of our products meet the highest standards of JPMC
Lead the development of test strategies and execution of test plans that may include hardware, software, data, test automation, and/or reports in pre/post deployment environments
Adds to team culture of diversity, equity, inclusion, and respect
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 3+ years applied experience
Hands-on practical experience in system design, application development, testing, and operational stability
Proficient in coding in one or more language s (Python, Java) and frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Cucumber, TestNG, Jira, Postman or similar tools used in the generation of automated testing and the management thereof)
Experience in developing automated testing solutions, debugging, and maintaining code in a large corporate environment with one or more modern programming languages and database querying languages
Hands-on experience testing multi-tier architecture UI, services, API and data pipelines across private and AWS public cloud platform (EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, EMR, Step functions, Glue)
Overall knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle
Solid understanding of agile methodologies such as CI/CD, Applicant Resiliency, and Security
Demonstrated knowledge of software applications and technical processes within a technical discipline (e.g., cloud, artificial intelligence, machine learning, mobile, etc.)
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
Familiarity with modern front end technologies, e.g. REACT
AWS certification
Domain knowledge Addepar or Aladdin, Wealth Management
