Job Title:Asphalt Lute Raker - Plant City
Must have the following to apply:
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
- 1 year of experience in the paving industry
- Valid Florida driver's license and ability to meet company MVR requirements
- Ability to use/read fixed gauges, ruler, and other adjustable measuring instruments
- Ability to complete all required paperwork
- Willing to work days, nights or weekends as needed
Required Screenings: Drug Testing/Screening (Pre-Employment and Random); Background Checks (Local, State and Federal history check); Motor Vehicle Record.
Job Description: The company is seeking to fill an Asphalt Lute / Raker position for our Plant City operations.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Perform duties to match and finish freshly laid asphalt paving joints
- Smooth and adjust surface irregularities with lute
- Spread asphalt to grade with lute and finishes before compaction by rollers
- Use/read fixed gauges, ruler, and other adjustable measuring instruments
- Follow safe practices and procedures
- Other duties as assigned
