A Day in the Life

We are seeking a Senior Supply Chain Planner to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for analyzing, developing, and implementing long-term supply chain strategies and networks to support our business goals. Your expertise will be pivotal in managing capacity issues, making production location decisions, and optimizing our supply chain operations.

Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned.

  • Analyze, develop, and implement long-term supply chain strategies and networks.

  • Support business execution of new programs and initiatives, including promotional activities, forecast coordination for key events, new product launches, and network redesigns.

  • Monitor key sales and operations planning performance indicators and cost-to-serve performance data.

  • Coordinate cross-functional work teams to enhance the effectiveness of supply chain initiatives.

  • Provide in-depth analysis and recommendations on process improvements.

  • Communicate effectively with senior internal and external stakeholders to exchange information, discuss statuses, and influence decision-making.

  • Accountability for shift level production planning, prioritization, and KPI reporting.

  • Responsibility for consumption, inventory management and communication of supply health.

  • Working in an SAP environment managing master data and troubleshooting master production scheduling issues.

  • Participation in tiered meetings to provide updates on material availability, and production priority changes.

Must-Have: Minimum Requirements

To qualify for this position, candidates must meet the following criteria:

  • Bachelor’s degree.

  • Minimum of 4 years of relevant experience with a Bachelor’s degree, or minimum of 2 years with an advanced degree.

  • Advanced knowledge of supply chain planning and management.

  • Practical knowledge of project management principles.

Nice-to-Have:

Additionally, the following skills and qualifications are desirable:

  • Certification in supply chain management (e.g., APICS, CSCMP).

  • Experience in a manufacturing or consumer goods industry.

  • Medical Device/ Medical Supplies Manufacturing experience

  • Excellent statistical and mathematics skills.

  • Software skills including MS Office (Access & Excel focus).

  • Working knowledge of SAP, QAD, Blue Yonder.

  • Demonstrated project management skills.

  • Experience implementing/utilizing LEAN/Six Sigma techniques.

  • Knowledge of manufacturing, distribution planning, logistics, warehousing, or transportation.
