LAKE COUNTY IT Assistant Technician in POLSON, Montana

The Lake County Information Technology Office is accepting applications for an Information Technology Assistant Technician. QUALIFICATIONS: Preferred two (2) years of experience in Information Technology (IT); possess the ability to follow written and oral instructions; exercise appropriate independent judgment; establish and maintain effective working relationships; communicate effectively in a professional manner; maintain confidentiality; must be proficient in operating computers, including the use of the internet, e-mail, Facebook, and Microsoft Office Suite; must be knowledgeable in professional office procedures; possess general office written, grammatical, and spelling skills. DUTIES: Under the supervision of the IT Director, performs general administrative support for the department activities, responsibilities, and services. Operate office equipment; perform general reception duties; provide general assistance to employees regarding IT services and support; conduct research to support the department services; maintain files; prepare financial reports and claims, including bookkeeping; update department(s) and/or County website, and Facebook pages; perform data entry; manage database and enter information; maintain County cellular phone account; track and manage IT inventory; and perform other duties as assigned. HOURS/DAYS: 8 a.m. to 5 p.m./M-F. WAGE: $18.00/hourly BENEFITS: Lake County offers excellent benefits! *This position will remain open until filled. Applications will be reviewed on a weekly basis.
