Position Title: Senior Demand Planner Professional

Salary: $99,549 - $116,700 / Year

Hours: Monday – Friday, 9:00 am to 6:00 pm, 40 Hours/ Week

Summary of Duties: Coordinate and balance supply and demand with suppliers and manufacturing plants. Act as a first line of escalation for supplier expedites for assigned commodities. Negotiate clear and robust delivery and performance terms, manage supplier relationships to develop and improve sourcing models, logistics model agreements, and Service Level Agreements. Work closely with purchasing, manufacturing, and procurement to plan and prioritize supply to fulfill customer requirements on time and ensure maximum performance, considering multiple factory requirements and financial goals. Manage MRP via SAP, monitor requisitions and place purchase orders with internal and external suppliers. Review SAP master data, including minimum order quantities, safety stocks, lead times, and purchasing info records. Work with SI EP factories in research and analyze current and future demand to developing forecasting models, defining priorities with suppliers, and making sure production schedule at supplier matches with factory demands. Evaluate the current supply chain conditions and improve it by working with manufacturing plants and corporate resources. Participate in annual supplier evaluations for assigned commodities for all locations and lead logistic related development activities. Work with strategic procurement and locations buyers to make sure pricing updates are performed in a timely manner. Analyze large amount of data to develop sourcing strategies by component and supplier. Oversee and maintain inventory, working closely with materials/ inventory management teams within the different manufacturing plants. Monitor the performance of suppliers and work with them to achieve continuous improvements in costs and performance. Undertake benchmarking, evaluate Supply-Demand capacity/planning, and manage the supply chain risks and the actions to secure the supply chain. Lead, develop, and guide the purchasing team. Monitor the team’s KPIs with Tableau and report team progress to Supply Chain Manager. Oversee tactical, operational responsibilities and process improvements within purchasing. Support the automation of purchasing process improvements utilizing Knime. Support the coordination and execution of customer/engineering changes. Promote teamwork and continuous improvement. Meet the inventory targets, delivery reliability, and cost saving initiatives. Responsible for GRIR (good receipts/invoice receipts) discrepancies and late purchase order processing.

Qualifications: The position requires a Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Systems Engineering, or a related field and five (5) years of experience in the job offered, or as a Materials Logistics Specialist, Buyer/Planner, or a related occupation. The position requires experience with the following skills: Three (3) years of purchasing or procurement experience with MRP systems; Lean Manufacturing; Excel Macros; SAP; Microsoft Office, Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft Access. APICS CSCP (Certified Supply Chain Professional) or APICS CPIM (Certified in Production and Inventory Management) Certification required.
