We are looking for a friendly and organized individual to join our team as a Host at 1812 Food & Spirits. As a Host, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, providing a warm welcome and ensuring a positive dining experience from the moment they arrive. Responsibilities: - Greet guests as they enter the establishment with a friendly and welcoming demeanor - Manage the seating chart and coordinate seating arrangements to optimize dining room capacity - Communicate effectively with servers and kitchen staff to ensure smooth transitions between seating guests - Answer phone calls, take reservations, and assist with guest inquiries - Maintain a clean and organized lobby area, including managing waiting lists and seating guests promptly - Assist with coordinating takeout orders and ensuring accuracy in packaging - Provide excellent customer service by attending to guests' needs and addressing any concerns Qualifications: - Previous experience in customer service or hospitality is preferred - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment - Strong organizational skills and attention to detail - Proficiency in using reservation systems and basic computer skills - A positive attitude and a genuine desire to create a welcoming atmosphere for guests If you enjoy interacting with people, have a passion for hospitality, and thrive in a dynamic environment, we encourage you to apply for the Host position.
