Wiregrass Rehabilitation Center, Inc. Cudahy - Production Supervisor in Portage, Indiana

[Resumes are being accepted for the full-time position of Production Supervisor - Laundry at the processing plant located in Cudahy, Wisconsin. This is a commercial healthcare laundry operation involving all aspects of production duties normally associated with the laundry/linen rental business. This position will supervise and assist in the management of the production activities of the laundry facility and the administration of policies and procedures applicable for productive and efficient operation. [Day Shift; FT with benefits.   • A completed employment application
  • Graduation from a secondary school or equivalent, industry experience and/or technical college with appropriate course work preferred.

[Work Experience]{abadi",sans-serif"=""}

  • Two years experience in industrial laundry operations or related work experience or two years supervisory experience to become familiar with accepted supervisory and personnel practices and standards.
  • Computer skills with a working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications required
  • Experience in a production industrial environment preferred
  • Ability to load, handle, sort and record incoming soiled textiles; prepares and transfers textiles to other departments.
  • Ability to count, fold, stack, wrap and pack clean textiles by hand or by machinery
  • Ability to communicate orally or in writing

  • The position under consideration may require the individual to be an approved licensed driver.
  • The position requires the individual to lift, carry, load items weighing 50 lbs. or more frequently and be able to push rolling carts.
