Quality Assurance Lab Technician in Portland, Maine
Pay: $24+ per hour
Schedule: Sun, Mon, Wed, Thurs 8p-6:30a

Duties:
• Testing incoming and outgoing product for suitability and compliance with standards
• Performing bacteriological, chemical, and physical tests on raw and finished goods
• Conducting product sampling at various points through the supply chain
• Performing microscopy on incoming raw products
• Evaluating packaging to ensure conformity
• Auditing facility to drive continuous improvement
• Inspecting cleaning equipment for proper operation and verifying cleaning completeness
• Performing other duties as assigned
Requirements:
• Associates degree or higher in dairy or food science, biological science or a related field
• Previous lab or quality assurance experience
• Strong attention to detail
