The Role
Reporting - The role reports to the UK Territory Leader
Data Center & Office Management Responsibilities:
Manage site operations and asset governance
Manage / accountable for site budget / costs
Interlock with FM team to monitor all limiting factors within DC and, where applicable, recommend remedial actions to maintain redundancy.
Escalation points for Facilities issues, incidents and outages and business focal point for major incidents
Emergency & preparedness response stakeholder.
Manage site service partners & suppliers to contract deliverables including
DC Asset Manager and services
DC installation services
Site(s) resource leveraging people, technology, and communication
Agent for site change and risk management
Owner of site level KPI’s, site information data integrity, regulatory compliance and site related permits
Interlock with the Compliance Manager to ensure adherence to Facilities Conduct guidelines, DC Access, physical and environmental controls
Own action plans resulting from reviews, audits and technical assessments
Manage customer and local community relationship
Regional scope of job role may vary depending on business need and portfolio changes
Flexibility to travel to sites across managed portfolio as required
Projects and New Business:
Acting PM for facility or portfolio projects as needed.
Represent Data Center offering in Engagements when requested, and responsible for creation of DC solutions
Perform due diligence, produce Indicative pricing solution, BAFO pricing and solution and production of solution detail for input to contract
Who You Are
Minimum 5 Yrs experience in senior position within a Large strategic DC or Portfolio of DC`s. . 3 . creation and submission of all business cases for both internal and client related Real Estate commitments and investments 4. five Yrs experience managing External FM & Technical vendors to leverage value for the business.
CDCMP ( certified Datacentre management professional)
Qualified up to Degree level ( Electrical/Mechanical/ Engineering )
