Templin’s Resort, located on the Spokane River, just downstream from beautiful Lake Coeur d’Alene is seeking a dynamic Hotel General Manager to help lead our team as we transform this resort and marina into a Pacific Northwest destination. With new owners, who include the StanCraft corporation, new capital, and a fresh vision we plan to transform and redefine lodging, guest experiences, food & beverage to the highest levels. Our new General Manager will create a warm welcoming experience for every guest with a positive attitude which will guide our team to achieve greatness.
You will be responsible for the daily management of activities and services of all hotel rooms, F&B operations (kitchen, restaurant, banquets, lounge, room service, etc.) in the hotel's continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability. Specifically, you would be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standard:
Oversee operations to include, but not limited to, guest service, food and beverage quality, inventory management, outlet reservations and occupancy, systems management, budget and forecasting, marketing, report generation, department management and meeting participation and facilitation.
Oversee and direct all sales efforts, revenue management strategies and customer reviews.
Develop team member performance to include, but not limited to, providing supervision and professional development, scheduling, conducting counseling and evaluations and delivering recognition and reward.
Meet and greet guests and respond to guest inquiries, requests and issues in a timely, friendly, and efficient manner and resolve guest concerns.
Monitor and assess service and satisfaction trends, evaluate, and address issues and make improvements accordingly.
Ensure compliance with health, safety, sanitation, and alcohol awareness standards.
Oversee hotel engineering team and projects.
Assist in recruiting, interviewing, and training team members.
