Description We are in search of a Human Resources (HR) Manager to become an integral part of our team based in Prattville, Alabama. This role involves handling a range of responsibilities, from managing employee relations to overseeing retirement benefits. You will be expected to contribute significantly to our growth by ensuring the smooth running of our HR functions.
Responsibilities
• Oversee the recruitment and onboarding process to ensure a seamless transition for new employees.
• Manage and resolve employee relations issues, fostering a positive workplace environment.
• Oversee the processing of bi-monthly payroll, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
• Administer employee benefits, ensuring they are understood and appreciated by all staff.
• Manage retirement plans, ensuring employees are well informed and plans are effectively administered.
• Ensure all HR activities are in compliance with state and federal regulations.
• Contribute to the hiring processes, developing strategies for attracting top talent.
• Facilitate full cycle recruiting, from sourcing candidates to finalizing hires.
• Handle communication within the team, promoting transparency and cohesion.
• Oversee various benefit functions, ensuring they align with company policies and employee needs. Requirements
· High School Diploma required
· Bachelor’s degree in HR or related field
· 5 years of relevant Human Resources experience
· Attention to detail
· Excellent time management skills
· Ability to communicate effectively with outside agencies
· Ability to communicate effectively with other departments and divisions within the organization
· Reliable and trustworthy
