EXPECTED HOURLY RANGE : $14.00 - $17.00 (part-time and temporary)

JOB SUMMARY:

The temporary, part-time Office Administration Specialist supports the smooth operation of our office by managing catering setups, maintaining snack and beverage supplies, handling deliveries, answering phone calls, and keeping common areas tidy.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty and responsibility satisfactorily. The accountabilities listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills, and/or ability required.

  • Catering Setup and Cleanup: Organize and clean up catering for meetings and events, ensuring all requirements are met efficiently.

  • Café Area Maintenance: Keep snacks and beverages fully stocked, ensuring the café area remains clean and inviting.

  • Delivery Management: Accept and manage incoming deliveries, ensuring they are distributed to the appropriate departments promptly.

  • Phone and IVR Monitoring: Answer phone calls and monitor the IVR system, directing calls to the correct personnel.

  • Common Area Tidiness: Regularly tidy common areas, conference rooms, and whiteboards, ensuring they are presentable and ready for use.

  • Ad Hoc Requests: Be available to assist with various tasks and requests as needed, demonstrating flexibility and a can-do attitude.

  • Other duties as assigned by supervisor. These may, on occasion, be unrelated to the position described here.

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:

  • Associate’s degree or equivalent experience.

CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSE/REGISTRATION REQUIREMENTS:

  • None

QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE:

  • Previous experience in office administration or a similar role is preferred.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Strong organizational, detail oriented, administrative, and problem solving skills.

  • Multitasking abilities.

  • Demonstrated computer skills for work processing and e-mail.
