Available shifts: 1st shift 5:00am-3:30pm Monday-Thursday & 2nd shift 3:30am-2:00am Monday-Thursday.
(optional OT is offered Friday-Saturday if desired.

Responsibilities
Hiring for 3 CNC departments, all that are direct placement & fulltime roles.
CNC Mills Machinist, CNC Lathes Machinist, and CNC Grinder
Setup and operate CNC machines to perform precision machining on components.
Study blueprints or layouts
Use precision measuring instruments such as micrometers, indicators, height stands, gauge blocks, and gauge pins to work to tolerances of .0001”.
Select and use equipment & fixtures
Apply trigonometry, geometry, and general math skills to perform necessary angular and position calculations to achieve workpiece blueprint specifications.
Understand and correct for unexpected taper and other inaccuracies in grinding, milling, or lathes.
Select and use various wheel types and styles, including knowledge of abrasives, speeds & feeds, and other application parameters.
Understand and implement general machine set-up principles.
Operate multiple machines simultaneously.
Maintain a clean and organized work area.
Essential Skills
3-5 years of experience in setting up and operating CNC machines
Ability to use quality precision measuring devices such as micrometers, calipers, gauges, and indicators.
Experience performing full setups and editing programs using G and M codes.
Ability to read blueprints and setup sheets.

This is a Permanent Direct Hire position based out of Wheeling, Illinois.
The work environment is climate-controlled, organized, and clean throughout the facility.

The pay range for this position is $52000.00 - $62400.00/yr.
