Program Assistant Available Title(s): 107M-YNCSNPS - Program Assistant Business Title: Program Assistant Employee Type: Classified Time Type: Full time Position Term: 12 Month Position Details: The Opportunity: As the Program Assistant, your primary responsibilities include scheduling all advising appointments for the Honors College advisors, maintain a wide variety of student records, both electronic and manual record keeping/filing systems; respond to inquiries from students, staff and the general public. In collaboration with the Administrative Manager, you will assist with the Honors College Thesis and Admissions process; mail various materials to students and prospective students; assist with clerical projects; scheduling the STAMP exams and assisting with tracking graduation candidates. Required Qualifications: • High school graduation or equivalent AND two years of full-time clerical experience OR equivalent education/experience. • Demonstrated strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills. • Strong computer skills with demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office software (Outlook, Word,and Excel) Preferred Qualifications: • Experience working with high achieving students. • Experience with WSU student information systems such as myWSU • Experience with mass email programs • Experience with Adobe Suite • Experience with website editing Additional Information: Area/College: Honors College Department Name: Honors College City, State, Zip: Pullman, WA 99164 Department Link: https://honors.wsu.edu/ Monthly Salary: $3,145 to $4,174 | Range 37 (A-M) | Successful candidates with a start date before July 1, 2024, will receive a 3% salary increase effective July 1, 2024. $3,239 to $4,299 | Range 37 (A-M) | Successful candidates with a start date of July 1, 2024 or later, will receive a salary offer inclusive of the 3% increase to the salary range.
