Google Senior Security Manager, Google Cloud Platform, Mandiant in Pune, India
Minimum qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cyber Security, Cyber Operations, a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
Certification in Security+ or similar Cyber Security/Incident Response certification.
8 years of experience detecting and responding to cyber intrusions.
Experience analyzing, triaging, and remediating information security incidents.
Experience in incident management, cyber security, logic analyzers, network architecture, network design, security assessment, security controls, security monitoring, and event management and alerting.
Preferred qualifications:
Experience with scripting languages (e.g., C++, Python).
Understanding of common cyber security tactics, techniques, and procedures.
Excellent communication, problem-solving, and investigative skills.

Manage a team of SOC analysts. Review, respond, triage, and escalate security alerts to customer, AA team, or consulting as necessary.
Create and augment processes and procedures to investigate alerts. Ensure employees are trained on alert handling for EDR and network technologies and other technology.
Recruit/hire staff as needed, create tools to drive alert processing efficiency, and work with employees to develop career development opportunities.
Engage with customers to detail, explain, and review high-level alerts as necessary. Create root cause analysis for incidents or non-conformance issues.
Drive resource planning discussions for region. Create monthly metrics to assess Security Operations Center performance and improvement/training opportunities.
