Caterpillar Precision Seals Korea has been producing metal face seals for undercarriage and final drive applications in South Korea for Caterpillar and other global OEM manufacturers since 1975. We are the leading manufacturer of metal face seals providing the best solutions for customers around world.
As the Senior Manager, Manufacturing Operations for the Caterpillar Precision Seals Korea facility , you will serve as the Facility Manager and are responsible for all elements of the manufacturing organization with safety and quality as top priorities.

Role Definition
Oversees and directs daily plant operations including production and manufacturing, maintenance, engineering support, safety, regulatory compliance, distribution and warehousing. Manages 40 management employees and 160 operators in Caterpillar Precision Seals Korea.
What You Will Do:
Overseeing programs and practices for hiring, performance management and developing/training the personnel that perform and support the facility operating functions.
• Directing all aspects of manufacturing operations for the facility in order to produce cost-effective, timely and high quality products in a safe, secure and sanitary working environment.
• Managing development, implementation and continual improvement of the operating methods, equipment, systems and other operating infrastructure used to realize operating goals and objectives.
• Directing development of production work schedules to meet internal goals and customer expectations; monitoring process and personnel performance of scheduled work activities to remove operating impediments and achieve established operating goals.
• Ensures the compliance of all regulatory guidelines and forges a safe and sound manufacturing environment
What You Have:
• Budgeting: Knowledge of organization's budget process; ability to apply policies and practices for planning and administering a budget.
• Quality Management: Knowledge of quality management methods, tools, and techniques and ability to create and support an environment that meets the quality goals of the organization.
• Analytical Thinking: Knowledge of techniques and tools that promote effective analysis; ability to determine the root cause of organizational problems and create alternative solutions that resolve these problems.
• Planning and Organizing: Knowledge of the process of planning and arranging tasks and resources; ability to plan and organize both time and resources to get things completed while structuring and maintaining work in a systematic and highly methodical way.
• Performance Management: Knowledge of successful performance management techniques; ability to apply organization's performance management system, practices, and tools to developing and improving individual, team, and organizational performance.
• Lean Operations: Leverage Lean methodology to extend experience in manufacturing operations; ability to perform day-to-day operations of a manufacturing plant or facility for products.
• Manufacturing Safety: Knowledge of manufacturing safety; ability to identify work-related hazards and perform necessary activities to meet regulatory requirements for the safety and protection of workers, environment and site.
• Manufacturing Standards, Procedures and Policies : Knowledge of organizational standards, procedures and policies in manufacturing activities; ability to plan, guide, and monitor manufacturing processes for compliance.
• Team culture: Extensive experience in creating a positive work environment that emphasizes employee experience.
• Problem Solving : Knowledge of problem solving and decision making process; ability to identify and solve complex problems by pulling in the right resources, people and knowledge.
Requirements :
• Bachelor or Master’s degree in engineering or similar
• Minimum ten years working experiences in a variety of Staff and Supervisory positions in Manufacturing.
• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Quality Systems and Precision Machining Operations
• Must be a strong communicator and have strong leadership and managerial skills to direct and motivate people to ensure divisional goals are met.

• Expertise in metal casting and precision machining
• Working experience with matrix organization
