Position Overview:The Director of Special Education and Resource Teacher will provide leadership and coordination for the continuous development and enhancement of the districts Special Education program. This role includes administering grant management for Special Education Services, overseeing all IEPs for the district (including the preschool program), and serving as the point of contact for state monitoring. Additionally, this position will support an inclusive environment, working with students individually, in small groups, and within their own classrooms, adapting curriculum, providing assessments and interventions, and collaborating with classroom teachers, school psychologists, and other staff.
