Robert Half Customer Service Manager in Queens, New York

Description We are seeking an Outreach Coordinator to join our engineering team in Brooklyn, New York. This role is focused on customer service management and is instrumental in expanding our operations. You will be responsible for day-to-day outreach to contractors and engineering firms, with the aim of integrating them into our energy efficiency program. This on-site role also involves phone outreach, attending events, creating presentations, and training contractors on the project submission process. This job offers a contract to hire employment opportunity.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct daily outreach to HVAC contractors, refrigeration contractors, plumbing contractors and engineering firms

• Promote our Con Ed Small Business Energy Efficiency Program to potential partners

• Use phone outreach as a primary means of communication with potential partners

• Attend industry events to network and connect with potential partners

• Develop and deliver presentations to contractors to explain the benefits of our program

• Conduct training sessions to guide contractors through the project submission process

• Use CRM, ERP solutions, and Microsoft Excel to manage customer service and project submission processes

• Handle any complaints or inquiries from contractors regarding the project submission process

• Collaborate with the team to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of our outreach efforts

• Monitor and report on the success of the outreach program to the management team. Requirements • Applicant must possess a minimum of 1 year experience in an engineering role, preferably in a customer service managerial position.

• Proficiency in Customer Relationship Management (CRM) and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) solutions is required.

• Familiarity with IBM AS/400 is a significant advantage.

• Ability to work with management systems effectively.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is necessary.

• Experience with 'About Time' software is desirable.

• Ability to handle billing functions effectively.

• Experience in cash handling and cash activity is a plus.

• Proven record in complaint handling and providing excellent customer service.

• Strong interpersonal skills, with a customer-first mindset.

• Excellent problem-solving abilities and a detail-oriented approach to tasks.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
