Copeland is a global provider of sustainable climate solutions, creating efficient residential, commercial, and industrial spaces through HVACR technologies. By joining us as a Specialist, Training and Communications , you will become a member of the IT Training team to schedule and conduct training and technical assistance on Microsoft Office 365 and related Productivity tools to Copeland employees via classroom training and instructor-led virtual training.

In this capacity, you establish and maintain positive relationships with business unit leaders to promote training opportunities. This gives you a very vital role in helping drive growth platforms and supporting operational pillars while striving for long-term value creation.

As a Specialist, Training and Communications, you will:

  • Create, customize, and maintain instructional materials for training topics and sessions.

  • Deliver training on Microsoft 365 and demands for other business tools (e.g., Oracle Basics).

  • Research the best processes for the use of Microsoft 365 tools.

  • Collaborate with fellow employees on standard processes for training.

  • Schedule and maintain Oracle Taleo with new training opportunities for both team and self.

  • Administer post-training surveys, capture qualitative and quantitative metrics for training delivery, and continually improve the training experience and track metrics.

  • Collaborate with the HR Department during the onboarding of new employees as IT department contact and consult with new hires on the use of Productivity tools.

You can proficiently communicate ideas, collaborate, and efficiently work with people at any level, excelling in a team environment.

Required Education, Experience, & Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or IT-related field.

  • 1-3 years of relevant work experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • Experience with delivering Microsoft training to corporate employees.

  • Experience delivering customer training programs to individuals and groups of users.

  • Ability to identify and assist in troubleshooting user-defined problems.

  • Proficiency with the current version of the Windows operating system and Microsoft Office 365.

  • Familiarity with Workday Learning is a plus.
