House of Blues Cleaning Crew - The Ritz Raleigh in Raleigh, North Carolina

Job Summary:

The Role:

The Ritz is seeking a Cleaning Crew Member to keep our venues show-ready and create an incredible fan experience. This position is responsible for maintaining venue cleanliness in an efficient, professional manner and contribute to an excellent guest experience.

Job Functions:

  • Clean and disinfect all fixtures, floors, mirrors, doors, tables and walls in venue

  • Keep all guest facing areas free of trash, spills, and debris throughout shift

  • Clean and maintain all restrooms

  • Keep office areas neat and orderly

  • Use cleaning tools such as mops, brooms, squeegees, vacuum cleaners, etc.

  • Ensure that trash cans are continuously checked and emptied during the show

  • Refill toilet paper, paper towel, and soap dispensers before, during, and after the event

  • Identify and report any repairs or safety hazards

  • Perform all other duties as assigned or needed

Qualifications:

  • General knowledge of cleaning products and their intended uses

  • Prior cleaning/maintenance experience a plus

  • Detail-oriented and a team player

  • Maintain a positive “can-do” attitude

  • Ability to perform extended periods of prolonged standing, bending, stooping, reaching, and working on your feet

  • Consistent availability in the evening to late night hours (as early as 4pm, as late as 2am)
