Position: HR Operations Manager - North American

Location: Remote - United States, preferably Eastern and Central time zones

Reporting to the Vice President of Human Resources (HR) North America (NORAM), the HR Operations Manager is responsible for effectively and consistently shaping and defining the overall People Operations and NORAM HR team strategy and operating model, which will initially include but is not limited to: Employee Experience, Immigration, Contingent Workforce Management, HR Support Infrastructure, HRIS troubleshooting and problem resolution (Workday/ADP Vantage), and frontline support.

Your role in our future

  • Plans, organizes, and coordinates the operations and activities related to the Human Resources (HR) function in NORAM

  • Proactively identifies gaps, challenges and opportunities in partnership with the HBRPs while bringing insights and recommendations to the head of HR for NORAM in order to improve human resources organization as well as employee experience

  • Manages and administers the following programs/processes: immigration, onboarding, contingent workers, reward and recognition, offboarding, regional intranet for HR, regional SOPs

  • Supervises the HR Operations function and provides support on escalations related to employee inquiries, unemployment, education assistance, service awards, documentation requests, employment verification, I-9 management

  • Owns the relationship with the external immigration agency and work closely with the legal department to ensure that all immigration-related documentation and processes are completed accurately and on time. Make certain that the company remains compliant with immigration laws and regulations while supporting the needs of foreign national employees. Provide guidance to employees on immigration-related matters and ensure that all immigration-related policies and procedures are followed.

  • Provides consistent interpretation/application of HR policies and procedures across the region

  • Partner with People Insights team in optimization of Workday for region, as well as play a key role on ensuring data integrity (i.e. reorg, job title/code, compensation, etc.) in Workday and ADP Vantage

  • Partner with the compliance team on people-related policies, including new policy development, and adoption and implementation of new/updated compliance requirements to meet local, state, federal governing laws

  • Ensure Intranet is properly maintained, documents are reviewed, and scope is accurately applied

  • Tracks and maintains HR budget for NORAM, including opening/managing POs for HR services/consultants as needed

  • Drives the education of HRBPs on the different resources, tools, and proper channels for support needed

  • Builds trusted advisory relationships with HRBPs, COEs, senior leaders, people managers, and employees across the NORAM region

  • Actively contributes to strengthening communication between the business and employees related to HR programs, policies, and processes

  • Proactively shares data insights on themes across the employee lifecycle

  • Take a lead role in internal audits from an HR perspective

Your profile

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Finance, Business Administration, or related field

  • 10+ years of related Human Resources experience in a dynamic and fast-moving environment

  • Team oriented consensus builder who understands how to achieve buy-in from diverse constituencies, building bridges and designing "win-win" solutions across a matrix management organization

  • Strong understanding of immigration, EEO, AA and other relevant People-related policies, laws, and reporting, with a demonstrated ability to research and understand compliance

  • Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills

  • Excellent judgment with a high level of attention to detail and accuracy

  • Exceptional organizational skills including attention to detail and multi-tasking

  • Proven experience with HRIS management and administration

  • Proven knowledge of Workday, both technical understanding and ability to support users

  • Proven work experience in project management

  • Proven critical thinking and problem solving skills

  • Proven financial acumen and budget management experience

  • Demonstrated ability to drive improvements and continuously simplify workflows

  • Strong Execution – “bias for action” and knows how to get things done

  • Strong balance of EQ/IQ

  • Ability to see big picture and not work in a silo

  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, strong Excel skills

This position has a salary range of:

$75,500.00 - $113,300.00

Final salary offers are determined by multiple factors, which may include (but are not limited to) geographic location and candidate experience and expertise.
