Aerotek Finisher/Grinder $22hr in REDMOND, Oregon
Aerotek is seeking to hire a Finisher/Grinder for a metal casting company in Redmond, OR. This position will be a full-time 4x10hr schedule, SWING shift starting around 3pm, and offers $22hr starting wage.
Description:
• Perform work in the areas of dimensional and visual finishing in a productive and efficient manner on aerospace and medical castings
• Assure travelers, rework cards and discrepancy tags are properly completed
• Blend difficult radius to gages and blend dimensional walls within .001”
• Perform dimensional wall checks using measurement tools such as calipers, dyers and straight edge, U.T., Magna Mike, templates, etc.
•Position accepts, rejects, marks castings, blend or grind FPI, X-ray, Visual, and/or Dimensional indications for further
•Processing based on visual/IPD/finishing and FPI work instructions
•Position certifies rework blended areas both visual and dimensionally
•Perform work in the areas of visual, IPD, finishing and Grind for Weld in a productive and efficient manner on all classes of
•castings, ability to accept/reject where certified stamp is required
•Maintain a safe and orderly work station and wear appropriate PPE

•Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and work well with limited supervision

•Ability to work varying shifts and overtime when needed
