Description

Role Overview

We are looking for a highly collaborative Jr. Operations Manager who will work directly for the Chief of Staff. The ideal candidate must thrive in a fast-paced environment, with the ability to prioritize and multi-task across various projects.

Responsibilities

Process Design and Execution:

  • Assist with process design and defining business outcomes for simple processes/parts of a process to assess performance.

  • Help define yearly goals, implement controls, maintain compliance, optimize customer experience, and drive cost reduction.

  • Follow procedures for process execution in accordance with compliance and controls.

  • Provide data, research, and assessment results to the manager and team, with guidance and coaching.

  • Compile information on pain points to help identify alternative solutions to challenges.

Business Operations:

  • Support the assigned team by executing logistics to support operations plans, developing plans, working with stakeholders, and supporting the rhythm of business (ROB).

  • Contribute to the execution of business plans during periods of change or special circumstances.

  • Help manage corporate strategy initiatives across teams by monitoring accountability for processes, supporting communications, and reporting to ensure alignment across groups.

  • Build tactical relationships to attain results and provide specific leaders with information about specific challenges.

  • Share timely, accurate, and relevant information to build trust, encourage collaboration, and enable fact-based decision-making.

Team Management Support:

  • Contribute to team experience activities.

  • Collaborate with Global Talent Acquisition (GTA) to support recruitment efforts and partner with hiring managers to ensure a smooth process, under guidance of senior colleagues.

  • Participate in onboarding and assist new employees, vendors, and interns as a key contact for questions.

  • Coordinate logistics and provide onboarding support for new employees, vendors, and interns, under the direction of senior team members.

  • Maintain and manage headcount activities, including staff movement/transfers, reporting, offboarding, and transactions within relevant management tools.

Special Projects/Programs and Initiatives:

  • Contribute to projects as needed to meet the changing business environment.

  • Assist in project management, including coordinating and double-checking work as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Strong collaboration skills and the ability to work directly with the Chief of Staff.

  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks and projects.

  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to build and maintain relationships.

  • Experience in process design and business operations is a plus.
