Aerotek Manufacturing Technician in Redmond, Washington

Job Title: Manufacturing Technician

Job Description

As a Manufacturing Technician, you will be responsible for the final mechanical assembly of complex electronic instruments. Your duties will include encapsulating instruments in epoxy or similar compounds, creating silicone casting molds from master tooling, and ensuring all orders are fulfilled with correct items and accessories. You will also schedule and perform casting of electronic instruments and manage supplies in the casting area, while maintaining accurate inventory levels. Your role is crucial in identifying areas for process improvement to increase efficiency and reliability in our manufacturing schedules.

Hard Skills

  • Understanding ratios and using calculators

  • Ability to read instructions and procedure manuals

Preferred Skills

  • Experience mixing epoxies

Job Type

This is a permanent position.

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Redmond, Washington.

Work Environment

The work is typically performed in a manufacturing-laboratory environment with exposure to chemicals typical of a manufacturing casting room. The noise level is moderate but may be loud near moving mechanical parts. Occasional work requires handling dust, vibration, and chemical exposures typical for a manufacturing environment.
