About the Position: Logistics Management Specialist performing duties as a senior Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) and Acquisition action officer. Responsibilities Participate as a TMDE logistics analyst in command conferences, IPRs and/or working task forces. Conduct mid and long range support plans for TMDE, and determine calibration and repair support requirements. Perform maintenance assessments for TMDE and perform Integrated Product Support for calibration and repair mission requirements. Develop, disseminate, and monitor policy concerning all aspects of systems/items support TMDE related technological activities. Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes; intensive logistics management across the Integrated Product Support elements, responsibility for acquisition and lifecycle logistics for assigned Program Executive Officers (PEOs), Program Managers (PMs) and commodity commands during the development and selection phase of the acquisition of general and/or special purpose (GP/SP) TMDE. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service GS-11. You will be evaluated on the basis of your level of competency in the following areas: Maintenance Planning and Management Planning and Evaluating Problem Solving Technical Data Written Communication Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-11). Education Some federal jobs allow you to substitute your education for the required experience in order to qualify. For this job, you must meet the qualification requirement using experience alone--no substitution of education for experience is permitted. Additional Information Male applicants born after December 31, 1959, must complete a Pre-Employment Certification Statement for Selective Service Registration. You will be required to provide proof of U.S. Citizenship. One year trial/probationary period may be required. Direct deposit of pay is required.
