About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and innovative Senior Principal Applications Engineer with a strong background in Fusion Applications to join our Oracle Fusion Financials Application Development team. This role presents a unique opportunity to drive the evolution of enterprise financial applications by leveraging cutting-edge technologies, including AI and Agentic AI, to enhance automation, decision-making, and user experiences.
As a key architectural leader and technical innovator, you will identify and implement transformative solutions that redefine financial enterprise applications. You will explore and drive innovation opportunities in the Order-to-Cash (O2C) and Procure-to-Pay (P2P) functional areas, guided by emerging technology trends.
Working closely with product management, architects, and cross-functional teams, you will design and develop scalable, high-performance solutions that not only automate complex financial processes but also introduce intelligence, flexibility, and self-governing capabilities. Your contributions will set new benchmarks in application intelligence, ensuring that our solutions remain resilient, predictive, and proactive in addressing enterprise challenges.

Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities:
• Architect and develop Oracle Fusion Financials applications with a focus on O2C and P2P processes.
• Drive AI and Agentic AI innovations, enhancing automation, predictive analytics, and intelligent decision-making within Fusion Financials.
• Provide technical leadership and architectural guidance across multiple teams, influencing best practices and innovation strategies.
• Collaborate with product management, architects, and engineering teams to design scalable and maintainable solutions.
• Optimize application performance, reliability, and security, ensuring compliance with Oracle Cloud standards.
• Work cross-functionally to ensure seamless integration of AI-driven and cloud-native solutions
• Mentor engineers, fostering a culture of knowledge-sharing and technical excellence.
Qualifications :
• Strong proficiency in Java, Oracle ADF, SQL, PL/SQL, and Web Services (SOAP/REST)
• Deep understanding of Oracle Fusion Financials architecture and cloud applications
• In-depth knowledge of Order-to-Cash (O2C) and Procure-to-Pay (P2P) processes
• Strong understanding of Agentic AI and Generative AI, including their applications in enterprise software to enhance automation, decision-making, and user experiences
• Ability to design scalable, high-performance, and secure enterprise solutions.
• Expertise in performance tuning, reliability, and security best practices for enterprise applications
• Proven ability to influence technical direction and decision-making across teams
• Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with product managers, architects, and engineers
• Ability to drive innovation and architectural excellence as an individual contributor
• Understanding of modern DevOps methodologies, CI/CD pipelines, and automated testing
• Experience with microservices architecture

US: Hiring Range in USD from: $102,200 to $251,600 per annum. May be eligible for bonus, equity, and compensation deferral.
Oracle maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions and locations, as well as reflect Oracle’s differing products, industries and lines of business.
Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.

Paid time off: Flexible Vacation is provided to all eligible employees assigned to a salaried (non-overtime eligible) position. Accrued Vacation is provided to all other employees eligible for vacation benefits. For employees working at least 35 hours per week, the vacation accrual rate is 13 days annually for the first three years of employment and 18 days annually for subsequent years of employment. Vacation accrual is prorated for employees working between 20 and 34 hours per week. Employees working fewer than 20 hours per week are not eligible for vacation.
