Baylor Scott & White Health Web Strategy Specialist in Remote, United States

JOB SUMMARY

As a Web Strategy Specialist at Baylor Scott and White Health, you will be responsible for building, optimizing, and editing consumer-centric content on webpages across BSWH websites. The ideal candidate will know how to connect user journeys, consumer research and knowledge of the brand directly to business growth objectives. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to audit and assess web content as well as strategize methods of optimization. This role requires a keen eye for detail from both a copy perspective as well as a web and user-experience perspective. The Web Operations Specialist/Strategist must be able to communicate vision and be able to back decisions and recommendations with data.

SALARY: The pay range for this position is $35.95/hour ($74,776/year) for those with entry-level qualifications up to $62.80 ($130,524) for those highly experienced. The specific rate will depend upon the successful candidate's specific qualifications and prior experience.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE ROLE INCLUDE (but are not limited to):

  • Executes webpage layout strategy for assigned service lines and tasks that is consistent with overall web goals and strategy as established by web leadership

  • Creates and edits webpages using customizable widgets and basic HTML within content management system. Operates within the principles of Agile, consistently delivering upon assigned tasks within sprints.

  • Serves as point of contact for assigned service lines, managing their pages by making sure their content is optimized, monitoring and analyzing engagement through SEO and analytics platforms, and proposing enhancements and updates to enhance traffic and conversion.

  • Supports efforts to ensure a clean, consistent approach to presentation of existing and new content, especially site navigation, functionality and internal linking process.

  • Provides day-to-day content support for BSWH websites

  • Leverages consumer research (e.g. SEO keywords) to inform content creation and optimization consistent with SEO strategies and is accountable for driving performance improvement along with business partners.

  • Works closely with service line leaders to ensure content for assigned pages is reviewed at least annually for accuracy, monitored and optimized for SEO performance, and is consistent with web strategy.

  • Proofreads copy for errors and edits for online presentation

  • Work with internal business groups to create and maintain a consistent brand image and voice.

  • Works with SEO partners to optimize content for search

  • Conducts research, including content audit and review of artifacts, and uses data to drive decisions and influence stakeholders.
