About You

Are you the Willy Wonka of words? The Picasso of Photoshop? The Gandalf of graphic design? We're on the hunt for a seasoned and sensational Head of Creatives to join the wacky and wonderful Marketing Team at OneDayOnly. If you've got a flair for e-commerce, a knack for team wrangling (5+ years with a small army of 10+ creative minds), and an unerring eye for dazzling design and compelling copy, we want YOU!

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage a team of creative professionals, including graphic designers and copywriters. [11 direct reports]

  • Set clear objectives and KPIs for the creative team, monitoring performance and optimizing workflows to ensure efficiency and quality.

  • Provide constructive feedback and professional development opportunities to team members, offer mentorship and empower their growth and skills enhancement.

  • Develop and execute creative strategies that elevate our brand identity and support marketing and sales goals.

  • Stay updated on industry trends and best practices to continuously improve creative output.

  • Oversee the creation of engaging and effective visual and written content for digital marketing campaigns, website, social media, and other platforms.

  • Collaborate with marketing, sales and other departments to ensure cohesive and impactful messaging.

  • Manage multiple projects from concept through completion, ensuring deadlines are met in collaboration with the traffic manager.

  • Inspire an innovative, positive work environment.

Experience and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, Graphic Design, or related field.

  • Minimum of 5 years experience in a manager role with at least 10 direct reports.

  • Experience in a creative leadership role.

  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and other relevant design tools.

  • Strong understanding of digital marketing principles and practices.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Ability to review and refine copy in line with company CI.

  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, tight deadline-driven environment.

  • Experience in e-commerce or related industries preferred.

  • A portfolio showcasing your work in copywriting and graphic design.

  • Excellent emotional intelligence (EQ) skills, including empathy, self-awareness, and conflict resolution, to foster a positive and productive team environment.

  • Able to perform well under pressure and inspire the team to follow suit. Solution-oriented approach to work.

  • Immaculate attention to detail.

Additional Information:

  • This is not a Creative Director role however will involve creative input and guidance.

  • The role requires substantial leadership responsibilities within the creative team.

  • Role allocation is approximately 60% team management and 40% creative review and direction.
