QTE By-Products, LLC Agricultural Equipment Operator in Renville, Minnesota

Need 18 full time, temporary, seasonal Agricultural Equipment Operators to work in locations throughout Renville and Lac Qui Parle Counties in MN. From: 08/15/2024 - 05/31/2025 Work: 48 hrs./week, Mon. - Sat. 8 hrs./day. 7:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Applicants may be offered higher than the advertised wage rate due to experience and/or merit. OVERTIME: All work performed in excess of 48 hours in a work week will be paid at the rate of 1.5 times the base rate of pay. ESST (Earned Sick and Safe Time): Effective Jan 1, 2024, per MN State Statute, an employee will earn one hour of paid sick and safe time for every 30 hours worked, up to at least 48 hours of accrued Earned Sick and Safe Time (ESST) per year, provided the employee works a minimum of 80 hours in a calendar year. JOB DUTIES: Operate heavy farm equipment such as tractors, excavators, front end loaders, skid-steer loaders to move and spread sugar beet and/or pea byproducts on farm fields. General farm labor including cleaning and maintaining equipment and machinery. JOB REQUIREMENTS: Six (6) months of ag. equipment operation experience is required; must be able to lift and carry 75 lbs. for 100 yds.; able to perform work in extreme temperatures, with extensive pushing, pulling, walking, sitting, stooping or bending over, and repetitive movements; no minimum education required. EMPLOYER ASSURANCES: Work guaranteed for 3/4 of contract period, starting with date of arrival at work site. Employer provides free housing for workers whose residence is beyond normal commuting distance; employer pays inbound transportation and subsistence to work site upon 50% completion of work contract for workers whose residence is beyond normal commuting distance. Daily subsistence will be provided at a rate of at least $15.88 per day during travel to a maximum of $59.00 per day with receipts.
