The Opportunity:

As a CACI Growth Strategy Intern, you will provide support to staff operations at CACI as we support US National Security interests. The support you provide ranges from operational support to business development. This position is hybrid with the expectation you will be in-person at least 2-3 days a week.

You will be required to work in a dynamic, fast paced environment that requires team interaction and coordination of efforts virtually and in-person. You must be able to organize, manipulate, and validate data sets primarily using Excel and have proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications as well as SharePoint and Teams.

Responsibilities:

Operations Support:

  • Support engagements with a variety of internal CACI operational teams to develop opportunities or solutions. This may include developing reports, briefings, and sourcing resources across the company.

  • Assist with the development, refinement, and streamlining of sector processes to gain and maintain efficiencies.

  • Work a variety of staff processes in each operating group and throughout all the larger Operations Support and Services (OSS) Sector.

Business Development:

  • You will assist with the development, refinement, and maintenance of business pipeline reports related to upcoming opportunities being considered and developed.

  • You will assist with the solution development process associated with preparing for and delivering company responses to federal solicitations for mission support services, primarily in the DoD and IC. This will include managing solution development workflows; conducting internal research to identify existing capabilities, white papers, proposal and solution artifacts; supporting the execution of recurring collaborative solution sessions; and documenting solution artifacts as they are developed.

Data & Financial Management:

  • Develop an understanding of a diverse set of databases and support the development of repositories, reports, and other products on emerging needs.

  • Hold responsibility for developing and maintaining financial data, such as spend plan, budget management and more.

  • Use a variety of tools to track and manage spend and resource use across the sector.

Qualifications:

Required:

  • Must currently be an undergraduate or graduate student.

  • Pursuing a degree in National Security, Intelligence, International Studies/Affairs/Business or a related field.

  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future.

  • Must have ability to fully leverage Microsoft Office Suite of tools (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, PowerBI, Teams etc.) with practical understanding of SharePoint.

  • Previous internship/co-op or other work experience related to business operations or international affairs.

Desired:

  • Understanding of the US national security apparatus

  • High proficiency with Microsoft Excel

  • Minimum GPA of 3.5 or higher

  • Must be able to obtain and maintain applicable security clearance

  • Strong desire to support CACI’s mission in providing operational support to the DoD and IC
