As our next Principal Release Train Engineer (RTE) and as a member of Integrated Strategic Solutions Engineering (ISSE), we will provide the training and tools to help grow the skills you will need to become a subject matter expert (SME) in the systems engineering lifecycle. You will learn from the best and brightest in the communications and nuclear deterrence domain working at Collins Aerospace. This position is for Richardson, TX.

What You Will Do:
You will lead iteration planning including developing acceptance criteria for Agile Release Train (ART) features, identifying & understanding dependencies, and coordinating with other ART RTEs and customers.
You will facilitate events such as iteration planning, retrospectives, and demonstrations, as well as report metrics in Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) environment.
You will own the ART processes, process execution, change management and ensures processes are executed appropriately and is accountable to the ART Product Manager (PM) and other leaders for ensuring overall program process execution.
You will interface with customers and use oral and written skills to develop great working relationships with stakeholders and team members.
You will ensure the quality of Agile stories containing Systems Engineering development tasks such as requirements, design, and test development in a Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) environment.
You will be accountable to the ART to facilitate removal of impediments, improve communications, identify risks & opportunities, and provide status within and outside of the ART.
You will manage the Scrum of Scrum and ART technical meetings.
What You Will Learn:

You will learn to apply Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) principles to cutting edge solution for emerging technologies.
You will learn SEER parametric estimation tools for proposals/bids.
Qualifications You Must Have:
Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) unless prohibited by local laws/regulations and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years of experience or in absence of a degree, 12 years of relevant experience
Active and transferable U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date
U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance
Experience as an RTE, managing and planning multiple release content for medium to large size contracts for solutions on military platforms.
Experience working as a scrum master or product owner or other agile leadership in an agile environment.
Experience with Agile development tools such as JIRA or other Agile management tools.
Experience in decomposing Agile epics and features to user stories with clear acceptance criteria.
Qualifications We Prefer:
Agile Coaching experience in a multi-discipline (Systems, Software, and Hardware) engineering environment.
Experience working in a SAFe Agile environment.
Agile Certification, such as Certified Scrum Master (CSM), Certified Scrum Professional (CSP), Agile Certified Professional (PMI-ACP), SAFe Scrum Master (SSM), or Professional Scrum Master (PSM).
Experience with Model-Based System Engineering (MBSE) design tools (Enterprise Architect, Cameo, or equivalent) using SysML.
Project Management, Control Account Management (CAM), and earned value management experience.
Participating in root cause analysis and corrective actions.
Working knowledge of bidding and project/task estimation tools (e.g. SEER products).

The salary range for this role is 96,000 USD - 200,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
