As a Project Support Technician in Richland, WA, you will be part of the proven team in the Advanced Reactor Support Business Line in the Fuel Business Unit. Your work will include: Duties will vary according to the specific area to which employee is assigned; however, all assignments involve training to gain knowledge of applicable Standard Operating Procedures, Process Specifications, and Quality Control Standards. Willing to work around chemicals. Willing to work shift rotation. Will be asked to work around radiation. Duties could include: Basic parts preparation per SWIs/SOPs. Support cleaning activities related to equipment removal. Support material and container transfers to support material consolidation operations. May utilize scales, cutters, crimp tools, inspection tools and various other small hand tools in the daily operation of job. Accurately enter/scan completed container or production data into system. Moves material and product in the work area by proper handling method. Keeps work area and equipment clean and orderly. May assist with minor equipment maintenance, repair and inspection, following detailed procedures, and report defects to supervision. During lull periods of production, may be required to work in other cost centers. This may include cleaning and wearing a respirator. Properly handles hazardous materials. Reviews and stays current with training curricula. Performs job duties in a safe manner.
