As a Senior Manager leading our Channels Access Management & Risk organization you will be part of a team that is delivering key access, application functions and oversight to our Channels organization. We are seeking dedicated, disciplined, process professionals who excel in a team environment and are skilled in process improvements and risk management. This individual will be asked to create strategy, work in a cross functional environment and influence new outcomes that reduce the risk across our Channels accesses & processes. As a member of this team, you will drive work to establish a well managed and best in class access environment for our Channels operations.

This individual must be able to effectively communicate and influence partners across the company and across multiple levels of the organization. As part of this role, you will monitor data trends to measure effectiveness and install necessary benchmarks or thresholds to ensure data integrity. It is expected that you will create and modify processes while collaborating with smart and passionate leaders to influence results that have a direct impact on the company’s bottom line. This individual must display strong leadership skills and be able to drive and motivate a team in delivering flawless execution of process improvement projects.

General Responsibilities

People Leadership

  • Lead, mentor, and develop a diverse team of professionals within the access management & risk teams

  • Foster a collaborative and inclusive work environment that encourages creativity, innovation, and professional growth

Partnerships & Stakeholder Management

  • Collaborate and partner with teams across Channels, Cyber and Risk to identify, socialize and mitigate risks

  • Engagement with tech and product to enhance the technology or application roadmaps while focusing on removing impediments of the team's daily accountabilities

  • Communicate effectively to provide regular updates to stakeholders on access level data and key metrics

  • Partner with Capital One Philippines counterparts to drive consistency of process execution and alignment on strategic objectives

Core Accountabilities

  • Create strategy and drive prioritization to influence a transformation of the E2E access experience that aligns to the vision of the Channels network

  • Maintain a high bar of process management excellence for the Channels access delivery & telephony routing

  • Monitor access and risk KPI’s while building on the existing monitoring & controls suite to ensure a sustained focus on access governance that align to established principles and SLA’s

  • Provide subject matter expertise on processes when representing the department in projects and support the Channels/Card programs & projects

  • Identify and implement best practices, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and process improvements to enhance overall operational effectiveness

Location: This role is hybrid, where you will be expected to spend about half of your working time in office and half working virtually.

Basic Qualifications:

High school diploma, GED or equivalent certification

At least 5 years of experience in Process management or Project Management

At least 5 years of experience in People management

Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree or military experience

Process Management (i.e. LEAN, Six Sigma), Compliance (i.e. CRCM, CIPP, etc.), Business Process Management experience

2+ years of experience gathering, monitoring, documenting, or analyzing data

3+ years of experience in risk management and strategy development

8+ years of Process Management or Project Management experience

8+ years of People Management experience

Ability to set direction, manage expectations and lead cross-functional team
