Consumer Aide

SUMMARY
This position works directly with adult individuals, 18 years of age and older, who have or have ever received Mental Health Services and individuals also who are intellectually & developmentally disabled. Provides social and recreation activities for individuals. Responsible for the day to day operations and activities at the center, and the safety of the individuals who attend the center.
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS
Education
- Graduation from high school or GED.
Experience
- None required.
Certifications & Licenses
- Be able to obtain agency-required clearances for criminal record check and child abuse.
- Possess a current and valid driver's license issued by your state of residence and be able to operate an agency and/or personal vehicle safely during various weather patterns whether it be daytime or nighttime.
- Be at least 21 years of age and have a driving record that meets the requirements of the DCI Vehicle Fleet Policy.
