JOB REQUIREMENTS: Job Overview: We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Electrical Mechanical (E/M) Maintenance Technician with experience in the food manufacturing industry to join our clients team. This role is responsible for preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of machinery and equipment to ensure efficient production operations. Key Responsibilities: Maintenance & Repairs: Perform preventive maintenance inspections on machinery, equipment, and facility grounds. Oil and lubricate moving machine parts to ensure optimal performance. Identify, report, and repair damaged or worn components. Diagnose unexpected machine breakdowns and collaborate with others to determine root causes. Repair electrical and mechanical malfunctions safely, efficiently, and promptly. Equipment Modifications & Testing: Work with management to assess new product requirements and necessary equipment modifications. Implement test runs on modified equipment and collaborate with Production Manager & Maintenance Lead for feedback and adjustments. Shop & Workplace Organization: Help clean, organize, and maintain shop areas, tools, and supplies. Follow and uphold workplace safety standards and company policies. Other Duties: Perform additional tasks as assigned to support operational efficiency. Required Skills & Abilities: Strong electrical and mechanical aptitude with hands-on problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented environment. Effective communication skills (fluent in English). Attention to detail and strong organizational skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced and high-pressure environment. Physical Requirements: Prolonged standing and walking during shifts. Ability to bend, stretch, push, pull, and move as needed to access and service machinery. Strong visual inspection skills for machine schematics, drawings, and diagrams.
