Job Title: IT Project Advisor
Location: Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA)
Department: Information Technology
Reports To: Chief Information Officer (CIO) - KSA
Job Summary: The IT Project advisor will be responsible for overseeing the KSA technology projects of local market customizations and integrations, ensuring the successful plans for projects as well as aligning on strategic technological end state. Aligning Technology roadmap for KSA to meet regulatory and international business requirements. This role requires a strategic thinker with technical expertise and leadership skills to drive innovation and efficiency in our technology solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
Technical Leadership:
Strategic Leadership: Develop and align IT strategies with organizational goals, Kingdom regulatory bodies frameworks such as CHI, IA, NCA, etc., ensuring seamless and efficient integration of digital transformation initiatives
Project Management: Oversee complex IT projects, ensuring timely delivery, budget adherence, and high-quality outcomes.
Value Delivery: Establish and modernize PMO operations, focusing on value delivery, process improvements, and resource optimization.
Team Leadership: Lead the projects team of IT professionals, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and accountability.
Stakeholder Engagement: Serve as the primary liaison between IT, business units, and executive leadership, providing strategic insights and ensuring effective communication. - Operational Efficiency: Implement systems and processes that enhance operational efficiencies, reduce costs, and improve customer experience.
Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all IT projects and systems comply with the Kingdom’s regulatory standards and mandates
Team Leadership:
Provide inspirational leadership, cultivating a high-performing, collaborative, and innovative team culture.
Leverage metrics-based management to drive accountability and performance improvements.
Drive process optimization to enhance operational efficiency.
Manage team career development, performance evaluation, compensation planning, and communication.
Mentor and manage software development teams, promoting a focus on innovation, automation, collaboration, and delivery excellence.
Allocate resources effectively to meet project commitments within scope, time, and budget while managing risks and resolving issues.
Collaborate with Architects, Business Systems Analysts (BSAs), and Scrum Masters to deliver scalable, secure, and efficient solutions.
Requirements:
Education: Bachelor's in IT, Computer Science, computer engineering or a related fieldExperience: Minimum 7 years of experience in IT projects management Certifications: PMP or equivalent certifications are required.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in Agile methodologies, ITIL framework, SDLC, DevOps, and systems design.
Leadership: Proven track record of leading and developing high-performing teams.
Communication: Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with fluency in both Arabic and English.
