University of Rochester Ambulatory Psychiatry - Project FACT - RN 3, Outpt in Rochester, New York

Responsibilities

URMC’s Forensic ACT team, will serve justice-involved adults with serious mental illness in Monroe County. The Project FACT team nurse provides overview of physical and behavioral health issues of individuals receiving services from the team. The nurse provides leadership and guidance to the team in addressing all preventative, ongoing and critical health matters. The nurse also coordinates pharmacological services along with the team’s prescriber(s). Nurses are core members of the team and contribute to all clinical decisions in team, including treatment plans and documentation. Rotating on call responsibilities. A university car is provided for use in seeing clients. NYS RN license in good standing. Must possess a valid New York State Driver's license and a satisfactory driving record. Minimum 3 years of Psychiatric experience required; outpatient experience preferred.

Qualifications

Requires a Diploma, Associate or Bachelor's degree from an accredited Nursing Program and an active New York State RN license in good standing. Applicants will have a minimum of 3 years of RN experience. This position utilizes expert skill and knowledge to deliver nursing care, directs others, and assumes the role as a care coordinator or preceptor.

Pay Range

Pay Range: $36.87 - $47.93 Hourly

The referenced pay range represents the minimum and maximum annual salary for this faculty position. Individual salaries will be determined within the job’s salary range, and will be determined by considering factors including, but not limited to, market data, education, experience, qualifications, expertise of the individual, and internal equity considerations. Incentive-based compensation may also be applicable and will be discussed during the hiring process.
