University of Rochester Center for Peri-Operative Medicine - Registered Nurse 2, Outpatient in Rochester, New York
Responsibilities
Primary position for telephone triage screening of pre surgical patients for review and collection of medical history for the day of surgery preparation. Will work closely with surgeon’s offices. Strong interpersonal skills and clerical competency. Cross coverage of the clinic on an as needed basis may be required. RN with three years acute Med/Surg experience with knowledge base of perioperative medicine a plus. Basic computer skills required.
Qualifications
Requires a Diploma, Associate or Bachelor's degree from an accredited Nursing Program and an active New York State RN license in good standing. Applicants will have a minimum of 6-12 months of RN experience. This position assumes the charge nurse role, actively participates in unit/service activities, supports co-workers, and assesses unit needs.

Pay Range
Pay Range: $34.34 - $44.64 Hourly
The referenced pay range represents the minimum and maximum annual salary for this faculty position. Individual salaries will be determined within the job’s salary range, and will be determined by considering factors including, but not limited to, market data, education, experience, qualifications, expertise of the individual, and internal equity considerations. Incentive-based compensation may also be applicable and will be discussed during the hiring process.

Schedule: FT/PT positions available, Monday through Friday day shift. Partially remote, must be flexible.
