Position Summary
Responsible for machine operation, production and quality paperwork, in-process inspection, assembly, finish packing, and working in a team environment.
Essential Duties and Tasks
Work safely at all times, ensuring machine guarding and safety features are functional. Must follow LO/TO requirements at all times.
With guidance from more experienced operators, is able to set up, adjust and operate several machines, including secondary operations while achieving machine production standards and quality specifications.
Perform quality inspections and completion of Quality Documentation of products as prescribed in the Job Book.
Able to provide basin training to other machine operators and packers as needed.
Read, understand and follow the Job Order Book and routing instructions.
Monitor scrap levels, speed, and notify supervisor when levels are excessive.
Complete appropriate paperwork and label left over material with required inventory information.
Move material, components, and F/G pallets to designated areas.
Accurately complete and maintain required paperwork and documentation, including, but not limited to, quality records, machine activity forms, etc. throughout the shift.
Perform Housekeeping responsibilities necessary to maintain a clean environment for production throughout the shift.
Report food safety concerns
Food Safety – maintain a focus on food safety at all times, as outlined in our GMP policy under the guidance of SQF requirements.
Maintain work area per food safety requirements.
Ability to work overtime as needed.
Adhere to all company and department work and safety rules and EHS policies/procedures.
Comply with all company policies, and all quality, environmental, health and safety policies and procedures as well as any regulatory or statutory requirements related to the position.

Work primarily in a climate controlled indoor environment with minimal safety/health hazard potential. Safety shoes and vision protection required on the production floor at all times.
This role operates in a professional environment that requires some exposure to a manufacturing environment. Employee is rarely exposed to non-toxic/nuisance smells from chemicals, airborne dust, moving mechanical parts, high noise levels and hot/humid environmental conditions in the manufacturing area during extremely hot summer months.
