Description We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity for a Staff Accountant in ROCKFORD, Illinois, 61104-7347, United States. The role involves handling functions such as Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Bank Reconciliations and General Ledger tasks.
Responsibilities:
• Handle the processing of accounts payable and accounts receivable
• Perform bank reconciliations to ensure accuracy
• Maintain and manage the general ledger
• Prepare and post journal entries as necessary
• Conduct month-end close processes efficiently
• Operate accounting software such as NetSuite, Oracle, QuickBooks, and SAP
• Ensure all financial records are accurate and up to date
• Resolve any discrepancies or issues related to the accounts
• Monitor financial transactions and reports
• Collaborate with the team to improve financial processes. Requirements • Possess strong knowledge and experience in Accounts Payable (AP)
• Proficiency in handling Accounts Receivable (AR) is required
• Experience in performing Bank Reconciliations is necessary
• Must be skilled in managing General Ledger
• Ability to prepare and manage Journal Entries
• Experience in Month End Close procedures
• Knowledge and experience in working with NetSuite software
• Experience in using Oracle for accounting tasks
• Proficiency in QuickBooks is required
• Must have experience in using SAP for accounting purposes
