Aerotek CNC Machinist in Rockledge, Florida
Hiring CNC Machinist in Rockledge, FL
Will be operating and adjusting CNC machines such as: mills, lathes, etc. to produce complex parts, assemblies, tooling and fixtures.
Schedule 6am-4:30pm Monday-Thursday
Produce large cast and billet parts using Mazak CNC vertical & horizontal mills. CNC lathe with live tooling and a Mazak Palletech high rise system.
Use various hand tools, such as but not limited to electric drills, drill press, grinders, files, Calipers, Micrometers and other measuring instruments.
Must be able to use and interpret precision measuring equipment
Works from drawings, sketches, or verbal instructions to produce work to close tolerances.
Set up and Operate multiple, multi-axis machines simultaneously
Maintains and performs preventive maintenance on machines and related systems
Uses and interprets appropriate statistical quality data
Skills & Qualifications:
Mazak knowledge & experience
3 & 4 & 5 axis mill setup experience
Knowledge of tooling speeds and feeds, offsets, and minor program changes
Basic operational proficiency with multiple CNC machines
Experience with working in a prototype and first piece rapid machining environment
Ability to competently perform all essential duties of the position, with or without reasonable accommodation, demonstrate a commitment to effectively deliver product, and the ability to work productively as a member of a team with a good and positive attitude.
Uses appropriate shop math and trig to develop proper methods, and through experience and training; is able to select appropriate feeds, speeds and tools
Candidate must have minimum of 2 years of experience as a CNC machinist.
