Residential Junior Buyer | Hybrid- Rockville, MD | 60k - 85k/yr

Responsibilities (includes but is not limited to the following):
Develop and implement effective procurement strategies for construction materials
Identify cost-saving opportunities and efficiencies in the purchasing process
Manage budgets and track purchasing expenditures
Prepare cost analysis and reports
Identify and implement cost-reduction initiatives
Assist with developing, presenting, and monitoring programs to communicate to staff.
Assist with responding to internal and external audits of contracts and procurement functions, as needed.
Mitigate risks associated with supply chain disruptions and supplier reliability, where possible.
Conduct market research to stay informed about trends, pricing, and availability of construction materials and gym equipment
Analyze and forecast market trends to make informed purchasing decisions
Qualifications
Required:
Experience with buying residential construction materials
Experience in relevant ERP software
Strategic thinking with a proven track record of successful supplier negotiations and contract management
