SUMMARY:

Under general supervision, responsible for maintaining a clean and safe environment for members and participants in and around the Gold Rush Water Park and Back Forty Swimmin' Hole facilities. Prevents potential accidents and oversees the cleanliness of our indoor water park and our outdoor swimming area by following policies and program standards of the Double JJ Resort.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Continuously scan pool deck for cleanliness issues
• Remove trash on the pool deck and inside of the locker rooms.
• Maintain trash cans, changing garbage bags and recycling bags as necessary.
• Remain cleaning ready during hours of operation.
• Perform opening and closing procedures, pre- and post-shift checks.
• Continually assess pool deck chairs for usage, cleanliness, order, etiquette, and availability.
• Remove discarded or unattended towels and wash/dry when necessary.
• Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
• Always presents a professional appearance and attitude.
• Maintains a high standard of customer service.
• Communicate safety issues to the proper supervisor. Directly reports to Aquatics Manager.
• Cleaning duties occurring prior to and after regular programming hours of the facilities, including picking up trash, sweeping, scrubbing, and cleaning surfaces, and other miscellaneous cleaning tasks.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must be able to communicate well, verbally and in writing, to members and staff.
• Ability to prioritize tasks.
• Physical capability to lead and interact within a team and perform related physical skills.
• Knowledge of customer service standards and procedures.
• Ability to follow routine verbal and written instructions.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, full or part time, including weekends.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: From $14.00 per hour

Expected hours: 24 -- 40 per week
