  • Refine and implement sales/marketing strategy to grow revenue/margins in European Derivatives.

  • Be professionally articulate and market innovative risk management solutions, effectively communicating the merits and risks of the designed solution, while taking due account of all financial risks - market, credit, cash flow, regulations and reputation.

  • Actively work across a wider deal team community, collaborating with Traders, Business Development teams, M&A, Finance, Legal, Technical Accounting, Contracts, Credit, Tax and Back Office.

  • Share information/intelligence across the Shell Trading Network.

  • Integrate DS-X (an online platform developed by the Derivatives’ team to enable the Shell Group to view live forward prices and to click and trade derivatives in real time across multiple commodities) solutions with Products Trading and Shell Energy businesses to standardize processes and reduce T&S development costs, where possible.

  • Work in close partnership with control functions such as Legal, Compliance, Market and Credit Risk, Audit, Finance to ensure appropriate governance and control infrastructure.

  • Build a culture of responsible finance, good governance and supervision, expense discipline and ethics.

All activities to be carried out within the control and compliance framework of Shell Trading & Supply.
