TEKsystems Lead Infrastructure Engineer in Round Rock, Texas

Top Skills Details:

  • 5+ years of Experience with CI/CD tools: UDeploy (Urbancode Deploy) and/or Harness AI Driven CI/CD and/or Tanzu Kubernetes Grid Integrated (TKGI)

  • 3+ Years of Scanning tools such as SonarQube, Black Duck and Checkmarx

  • 2+ years of SRE experience in developing automated solutions for operational aspects in an organization.

Lead complex initiatives to develop infrastructure to provide solutions for business applications. Participate in various projects intended to continually improve or upgrade the infrastructure. Evaluate internal and external software solutions which could be leveraged to meet target state architecture goals. Review and analyze high impact outages to ensure the proper processes and procedures are in place to avoid problems in the future. Design, build, deploy and maintain infrastructure solutions through collaborative efforts with the team and third party vendors. Design, code, test, debug and document programs using Agile development practices. Make decisions in technical designs, implementation plans and identify project risks and resource requirements. Direct the daily risk and control flow of operations, focusing on policies, procedures and work standards to ensure success. Recommend courses of action to maintain cost effectiveness and achieve results. Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues and managers to resolve issues and achieve goals. Interact with customer and vendor. Required Qualifications: 5+ years of Technology Infrastructure Engineering and Solutions experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education.

• Full stack technical expert, innovator, and strategic engineer with the CI/CD pipeline technology engineering discipline.

• Focus on key aspects of SRE like Observability, Automation, Reliability, Resiliency, Scalability, Configuration Management & Actionable, Data Driven insights.

• Lead and manage all installed systems and infrastructure within EPL tools and technologies.

• Clear in-depth technical understanding of all features, functionality, and industry trends and best practices.

• Contribute to increasing system efficiencies and lowering the human intervention time on related tasks and drive towards automations.

• Review and analyze moderately complex operational support systems, application software, and system management tools to ensure the highest levels of systems and infrastructure availability.

• Work with vendors and other technical personnel for problem resolution and preventive measures.

• Lead team to meet technical deliverables while leveraging solid understanding of technical process controls or standards.

• Collaborate with vendors and other technical personnel to resolve technical issues and achieve highest levels of systems and infrastructure availability.

• Engineering and support experience of Pivotal Cloud Foundry (PCF)

• Knowledge of Python and HPSA.

• Knowledge of Puppet/Chef/Ansible.

• Experience supporting an enterprise-level environment

• Comfortable with scripting and automation (Bash, Ksh)
