Robert Half Document Management Specialist in Sacramento, California

Description We are offering a long-term contract employment opportunity for a Document Management Specialist based in Sacramento, California. The role is primarily focused on reviewing, labeling, and processing documents, as well as maintaining high-quality standards for document imaging. As a Document Management Specialist, you will be working in a highly organized environment where detail-oriented skills are highly valued.

Responsibilities:

• Review documents received via email and prepare them for processing

• Manage incoming mail by scanning and labeling them according to our company's identification standard

• Investigate and forward documents without a claim number to the appropriate team

• Conduct quality assurance reviews of scanned images and ensure they meet company standards

• Reject or return documents that do not meet our specifications and notify the sender

• Properly index and assign all scanned images to the correct claim number

• Input image detail summary into the claims management system, including date of service and document type

• Handle special assignments and projects as assigned

• Maintain accurate customer records and take appropriate action on customer accounts

• Process customer credit applications accurately and efficiently. Requirements • Possess knowledge and experience in Document Management.

• Capable of conducting detailed reviews of various types of documents.

• Proficient in document review and analysis.

• Ability to manage and organize large volumes of documents effectively.

• Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.

• Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Proficient in using document management software and systems.

• Ability to work independently and within a team.

• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to make sound decisions.

• Excellent time management skills and ability to meet deadlines.

• Demonstrated ability to adapt to new technologies and learn necessary systems.

• Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent work experience is preferred.
