Boeing Phantom Works is seeking an innovative an experienced and/or s enior Product Security Engineer to join our growing Boeing Product Security Organization in St Charles, MO. The successful candidate will be responsible for the development, implementation, and sustainment of product security and resiliency throughout the requirements, design, build, test, production, operations, and support lifecycle.

You will be a part of Boeing's Product Security Organization, which is a growing multi-disciplinary engineering organization that is responsible for the security and resiliency of Boeing's products, platforms, and services. You will have multiple responsibilities across the life-cycle of Phantom Works programs and products, including the design and development of next generation systems. You will have the opportunity to shape and influence Product Security Engineering in Phantom Works, and engage with Boeing’s Enterprise Product Security community.

Our teams are currently hiring for a broad range of experience levels including: Experienced and/or Senior Engineer.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Leads the development, implementation, and sustainment of product security and resiliency throughout the requirements, design, build, test, production, operations, and support lifecycle

  • Leads the development and enhancement of system requirements and architectures for product security to meet all applicable certification and customer requirements

  • Leads the definition and identification of product security requirements for suppliers of components and subsystems for integration into complex Boeing products and services

  • Leads coordination with governments, customers, suppliers, and industry to identify risks and improve industry and regulatory security standards and requirements for programs and interfacing systems

  • Leads research and development activities resulting in innovative solutions

  • Leads the advisement of customers on maintaining product security and certification, including security consequences of modifying products and services

  • Leads the development, implementation, and sustainment of product security and resiliency throughout the requirements, design, build, test, production, operations, and support lifecycle

  • Leads the development and enhancement of system requirements and architectures for product security to meet all applicable certification and customer requirements

  • Leads the definition and identification of product security requirements for suppliers of components and subsystems for integration into complex Boeing products and services

  • Leads coordination with governments, customers, suppliers, and industry to identify risks and improve industry and regulatory security standards and requirements for programs and interfacing systems

  • Leads research and development activities resulting in innovative solutions

  • Leads the advisement of customers on maintaining product security and certification, including security consequences of modifying products and services

  • Travel (up to 25%) may be required for meetings with customers, internal meetings, etc.

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.

This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. An interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience): ( see education and experience for the levels below)

  • Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology (includes manufacturing engineering technology), chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science.

  • 3 or more years experience in engineering

  • Travel (up to 25%) may be required for meetings with customers, internal meetings, etc.

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • 5 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (level 4)

  • 3 years of experience in Security or Avionic Engineering.

Typical Education/Experience:

Experienced (Level 3):

Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 5 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. PhD, Master+3 years' related work experience). In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.

Senior (Level 4):

Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 9 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. PhD+4 years' related work experience, Master+7 years' related work experience). In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.

Relocation:

This position offers relocation based on candidate eligibility. Note: Basic relocation will be offered for eligible internal candidates.

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

Summary pay range for experienced: $112,200 – $151,800

Summary pay range for senior level: $136,850 – $185,150
