Hiring: Maintenance Technician
LOCATION : ST PAUL
2nd shift: M-Th 1:00pm-11:30pm --- $32-36/hr

Will be "on-call" with a heads-up roughly once per month.
Job Description
The maintenance technician will be responsible for performing preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairing steel plate and steel coil manufacturing equipment. This includes working with plasma tables, asteel coil lines, and occasionally performing PM work on forklifts. The role requires spending 75% of the time in the production area, conducting preventive maintenance, and addressing equipment breakdowns.
Responsibilities
• Perform general maintenance on plant equipment, including lubrication, monitoring, repairing, preventive maintenance, and inspections.
• Complete Work Orders and identify potential equipment problems to initiate improvement projects.
• Communicate with operators to ensure a smooth flow of operations and detect any equipment problems or concerns.

Work Environment
The work schedule is 4x10 Monday-Thursday, with shifts from 1 PM-11:30 PM or 10 AM-8:30 PM. You will be on-call approximately once per month. The industrial environment is a very large, old-school warehouse, built to be big enough to construct warships. While you will be out of the elements, it can be hot in the summer and cold in the winter, with doors constantly opening and closing, making temperature control difficult.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $32.00 - $36.00/hr.
