Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled Cloud DevOps Engineer / Automation Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our Azure Stack environment. The ideal candidate will possess in-depth experience with Azure Stack, Windows Admin Center, and Hyper-V Manager, along with proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as PowerShell, Azure CLI, ARM templates, and Bicep.
Key Responsibilities:
Design, implement, and maintain Azure Stack environments.
Test and validate the functionality of Azure Stack.
Develop and maintain IaC scripts to efficiently deploy and manage Azure Stack resources.
Set up and manage self-service pipelines to streamline workflows.
Ensure seamless integration with Azure Cloud, Azure Arc, and Azure Policy.
Manage and optimize environments involving Hyper-V, Windows, Linux, and Kubernetes.
Requirements:
Proven experience with Azure Stack, Windows Admin Center, and Hyper-V Manager.
Strong proficiency in IaC tools such as PowerShell, Azure CLI, ARM templates, and Bicep.
Experience with Azure Cloud, Azure Arc, Azure Policy, Hyper-V, Windows, Linux, and Kubernetes.
Ability to develop and maintain scripts for automated deployment and management of resources.
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
Relevant certifications in Azure or related technologies.
Experience with setting up and managing CI/CD pipelines.
Familiarity with self-service pipeline tools and automation frameworks.
Work Environment:
This is a remote position, with potential work locations including Quincy, MA, Salisbury, NC, and Chicago, IL.
Collaboration with a diverse and dynamic team across multiple locations.
