We are seeking a skilled Mechanic/Driver to join their team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining and repairing trucks and equipment with the possibility of fill in drier. If you have a passion for vehicle maintenance and possess strong mechanical skills we want to hear from you.
Responsibilities:
- Perform routine vehicle maintenance tasks
- Responsible for adequately diagnosing, repairing, servicing, and performing preventative maintenance on the fleet
- Assemble and disassemble machinery to facilitate repairs
- Operate heavy equipment as needed for maintenance tasks
- Maintain detailed records of all repairs and maintenance work performed
- Troubleshoot and repair air brake systems
- Perform inspections, diagnosis and repair of electrical, hydraulic, suspension, brake and air systems on vehicles and equipment
Qualifications:
- 2+ years experience as Diesel Mechanic are preferred
- Class B CDL required
- Strong understanding of diesel mechanics and maintenance procedures
- Ability to work with various hand and air tools
- knowledge of air brake systems & hydraulics
- Good communication skills are a must
